AFP Dominique Lapierre, a French author and the Padma Bhushan recipient, whose books offered 10s of countless copies, died on 4 December, his partner revealed. “At 91, he passed away of old age,” Dominique Conchon-Lapierre informed the French paper Var-Matin on Sunday. She included that she is “at peace and tranquil because Dominique is no longer suffering”. The significant author was born upon 30 July 1931, in France’s Chatelaillon. He is revered by the readers for his books, consisting of ‘City of Joy, ‘Is Paris Burning’, and ‘Five previous Midnight in Bhopal’ to name a few.
