This Weeks Events From city to circuit, the house heroes direct a parade of 1000s of fans ahead of #GP 1000. MotoGP ™ commemorates the 1000th Grand Prix in history this weekend and the celebration left to a fitting start in France as 1000s of fans joined their house heroes for a trip in. Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP ™) and Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac Racing) led the extraordinary convoy house, with the path beginning in the centre of Le Mans and heading to the circuit– ending up with a lap of the well-known place. The parade started at Place du Jet d’Eau, with the riders getting fit and booted prior to requiring to the fanzone phase for a fast Q&A to invite the crowd. It was showtime as Quartararo and Zarco headed over to their bikes and got prepared to lead the big convoy off through the city. With an authorities escort and fans lining the streets en path, the noise of 1000s of bikes ensured everybody understands MotoGP ™ remains in town this weekend. And with the 1000GP flags flying high, they all understand history will be made! On arrival at the circuit, the convoy headed onto the hallowed ground at Raccordement, the last corner complex, and after that the fans set off for a really unique lap behind their Grand Prix heroes. The bikes kept streaming past the start-finish line even as the house duo got a reasonable couple of corners into the lap, producing rather a picture chance once they were all back on the primary straight. With Quartararo and Zarco centre phase, flanked by our gendarmerie escort and an entire lotta fans, it’s a picture for the scrapbook as MotoGP ™ prepares to make more history this weekend. Conserve the date, set your alarms and prepare yourself for the Shark Grand Prix de France: Friday chooses entrants to Q2, the Tissot Sprint begins on Saturday at 15:00 (GMT +2) and the Grand Prix race gets in equipment at 14:00 on Sunday!
