Suspected ISIS terrorist Harish Ali, caught from Moradabad, UP, has now emerged as not just an arrested person but a warning about a dangerous network hidden in the educational campuses of UP. ATS investigation has revealed that Harish was busy spreading radical ideas to his BDS classmates. The inputs received from his mobile and laptop have given sleepless nights to the investigating agencies. The biggest question has now become whether this poison that entered the campus in the name of studies has reached many students or not.
Harish’s digital devices have revealed clues that clearly indicate that he was not limited to just watching hardcore material online, but was also trying to influence the youth studying with him. ATS has summoned many of his classmates and started questioning them. This means that the matter has now moved from the arrest of one person to a possible brainwashing network.

According to sources, Harish had formed a separate group of his own named ‘Al Ittihad Media Foundation’, through which he was connecting the youth of not only Moradabad but also more than a dozen districts including Saharanpur, Sambhal, Amroha, Bareilly. The investigating agencies fear that this was not a normal chat group, but a platform to spread mental poison, where the youth were being instigated for Jihadi activities. Now ATS is investigating how deeply this network has spread and how many faces are still behind the curtain.
At present, the investigation has not found any direct link of Harish with the alleged doctor module related to Delhi blast, but the suspicion of ATS is even more serious. The agency fears that just as Jaish-e-Mohammed prepared modules for educated professionals, ISIS may also be trying to set up a ‘doctor module’ on the same lines. This is the reason why this entire matter is being looked at from more angles than just one arrest.
