Wonder Female 1984 Is Being Postponed
In a relocation that was bound to happen eventually, the release date for Wonder Lady 1984 is being pushed back. The film, a follow-up to Patty Jenkins’ wildly successful 2017 movie Wonder Woman, will now hit theaters in August of this year. The shift comes as theaters worldwide are shuttered in an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19 “We made Marvel Lady 1984 for the big screen and I think in the power of movie theater,” Jenkins composed in a post on Twitter on Tuesday. “In these horrible times, when theater owners are having a hard time as a lot of are, we are delighted to re-date our movie to August 14 th, 2020 in a theater near you, and wish much better times for all by then.”
