NHRC looks for reports from 8 States on 15 deaths after authorities action

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has requested for action taken reports from the authorities of 8 States, where 15 people passed away following police action in the first month or so of the lockdown, according to the proceedings in the cases.

The NHRC acted upon a Might 16 grievance by the Commonwealth Person Rights Effort (CHRI), which stated the 15 guys– four in Andhra Pradesh, three in Uttar Pradesh, 2 each in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, one each in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Punjab and West Bengal– had actually died after authorities action or in custody from March 25 to April 30.
