The Supreme Court on Friday took strong exception to lack of facilities and salary cuts for the saddled federal government and private medical personnel, warning the federal government that “you do not desire disappointed soldiers in the war” versus the COVID-19 pandemic.
Senior advocate K.V. Vishwanathan, appearing for Dr. Arushi Jain, said medical professionals in both government and private hospitals were on the front line and should be spared income cuts.
