Here are updates about coronavirus cases in Brevard, according to the Florida Department of Health, since June 23, 2020

Brevard signed up 40 new cases for a total of 918 since the pandemic began, according to Tuesday early morning’s Florida Department of Health dashboard. Of the cases, 906 are homeowners and 12 non-residents.

There was one brand-new death, an 82- year-old female who had contact with a validated COVID-19 case. The lady’s case was not travel-related, and it was counted June 11.

In total, Brevard has lost 17 individuals, consisting of five in June, to the coronavirus. Victims varied in age from 63 to94 Here are the ages and gender of those who died of COVID-19 in Brevard, according to FDOH data:

– 2 73- year-old females

– 74- year-old male

– 76- year-old woman

– 77- year-old female

– 2 79- year-old males

– 80- year-old woman

– 83- year-old female

– 84- year-old male

– 91- year-old woman

– 94- year-old male

– 71- year-old woman

– 64- year-old female

– 63- year-old male

– 91- year-old male

The FDOH control panel revealed Brevard evaluated 35,500 individuals with 918 favorable and 34,580 unfavorable since the pandemic started.
