A tight security was preserved throughout the Kashmir valley on Wednesday to hinder a scheduled conference and protest marches by the National Conference (NC) and the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP), on the first anniversary of the cancellation of J&K’s special status.
NC president and Member of Parliament Farooq Abdullah is chairing a meeting of all local celebrations “to chalk out the future course of action” at his house on Gupkar Roadway.
