Eleven individuals were apprehended on Sunday for an attack on a cops celebration by a group of Nihangs, a Sikh warrior sect, at a vegetable market in Punjab’s Patiala.

The implicated, consisting of a woman, were later apprehended in an operation led by Inspector General of Police (Patiala Variety) Jatinder Aulakh and Patiala’s Senior Superintendent of Cops Mandeep Sidhu after they got away into the Nihang Dera complex in Balbera, which likewise houses Khichdi Sahib Gurdwara.
