Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro took selfies with advocates and commemorated their demonstrations in major cities on Sunday, drawing criticism from congressional leaders for encouraging big events that could get worse the spreading coronavirus.
Mr. Bolsonaro also appeared to brush off the guidance of medical professionals recommending he take safety measures after a number of members of his recent delegation to Florida checked positive for the virus.
