German airline Lufthansa has said it will cut 22,000 tasks as it has a hard time to deal with the slump in flight caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The provider forecasted a slow recovery in demand and expected to have about 100 less airplane after the crisis.
Lufthansa stated half the task cuts would be in Germany. It intends to concur the procedures with unions by 22 June.
It included that it intended to minimise redundancies through short-time working and crisis arrangements.
