Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Monday remained the notification under Section 41 A CrPC provided by the Poachgate SIT to Jaggu Kottilil alias Jaggu Swamy, a local of Kochi, till December13 The court likewise extended the stay provided earlier to BJP leader B.L. Santosh on Section 41 A notifications till December13 Justice K. Surendar was hearing 2 criminal petitions submitted by Jaggu Swamy and Santosh. Justice Surender, while stepping in, observed, “The notification threatens individual liberty of the private as your notification itself states that you are responsible to detained.” In the petition submitted by Santosh, SIT and the state federal government submitted counter affidavits. When the court was all set to hear the case on benefits, Rachana Reddy, counsel on record for Santosh, looked for an adjournment as senior counsel Desai Prakash Reddy would appear.
