Though temperatures dropped to around 24C over the weekend, the mercury is set to rise again this week, according to BBC Weather.
As of 2pm on Monday, Wednesday will see temperatures climb to around 26C, before it hits 27C on Thursday. By Friday, temperatures will edge a sweltering 29C ahead of a balmy 25C weekend.
Next week will be just as warm with forecasters predicting highs between 26C and 27C through until July 31st.
Another heatwave could be on its way to London

In London, the temperature must reach 28C for three or more consecutive days to meet the local threshold for a heatwave, meaning that the next few days will feel warm, but won’t quite be considered a heatwave.
However, a fourth heatwave could sweep across the capital on the final weekend of July.
Despite BBC Weather predicting some rainfall and scattered showers between July 31 and August 2, temperatures will exceed 28C across the three days.
Saturday is set to be the hottest of the three with temperatures hitting 30C, while Friday and Sunday will hover between 28C and 29C.
However, the rainfall will be a welcomed sight in London. It is yet to rain in July, with the last proper drops of rain having fallen more than two weeks ago on June 27.

The south-east of England has seen the longest unbroken spell of no recorded rainfall in 30 years, according to the Met Office.
The dry weather has caused drought conditions across much of the country, with millions being hit with hosepipe bans. The London Fire Brigade has also warned of wildfire risks as much of the capital’s green spaces turn into tinder boxes amid the warm weather.
Train services have also been plagued by the unprecedented heat, with cancellations widespread across the transport network.
