There has been a surprising turn in the case of a missing youth Raju returning home after 30 years in Shaheed Nagar of Sahibabad police station area of Ghaziabad. Ghaziabad Police is also surprised to hear his story. The investigation of this matter has become entangled. Raju reached Khoda police station and told the police that he was a resident of Ghaziabad. 30 years ago, some people had kidnapped him while returning from school. The police believed his story and handed him over to the family of Tularam, a retired electricity employee. But now the police have come to know that he has done this in Dehradun also.
Ghaziabad Police has received information that on similar lines, Raju has been living with a family living in Dehradun as their lost son Monu. He reached Dehradun police in July and narrated the same story of his kidnapping. He told that he is a resident of Dehradun. Some people kidnapped him in his childhood and took him to Rajasthan. There he was kept as a bonded labourer. He was made to do the work of grazing sheep and goats. Believing his story to be true, elderly Asha Devi, living in Patel Nagar area of Dehradun, identified him as her lost son. He started living in the house with them.

Asha Devi’s husband Kapildev Sharma told that after returning home, Monu often quarreled with his daughter’s children. Used to ask them to throw them out of the house. He was always suspicious of her claims, but allowed her to stay in the house because of his wife. Here, after living with the Sharma family for a few months, Monu left home in October, saying that he wanted to work in Delhi. Here, after posing as Raju and narrating the story to the Ghaziabad police, he started living in Tularam’s house. Meanwhile, after receiving information from Dehradun Police, Ghaziabad Police has taken Raju along for questioning.

Ghaziabad and Dehradun are jointly investigating this matter. After this the truth will be revealed. The nephew of Tularam, the head of the family in Sahibabad where Raju was staying, told that the Ghaziabad police team has taken Raju with them for questioning. His family will take a decision according to whatever facts emerge after the police investigation. Raju has been with his family for only two days. The family says that he used to do strange things many times. He would stay fine at home throughout the day, but in the evening he would insist on going out, even though his family refused.
Emotional story of kidnapping and release narrated
Raju had narrated a very emotional story of his kidnapping and release. He had told that he was kept in Jaisalmer, where he was made to graze goats. He was kept chained at night. Some driver had gone to Jaisalmer to take the goat. When she saw the chain on his leg and asked him the reason, he told the story of his kidnapping. After this, the truck driver took Raju along with the goats to Delhi. Raju reached Khoda police station. The police got the records of 30 years ago, which revealed the disappearance of Tularam’s son. The police contacted him and handed him over to the family. But now there has been a twist in the story.
